Dear TMS Families,

Welcome back! As we begin a new school year, I want to take a moment to say how grateful I am for the opportunity to serve and support your students and your families. It is a privilege to be part of their journey through middle school, and we are excited for all that this year will bring.

This year, we are embracing a simple message that captures what we believe about our school community:

Our school is better when you are here.

That message is about more than simply being present at school. Our school is better when you and your student walk through our doors. Each student brings their own personality, experiences, talents, interests, ideas, and unique perspective. It is that individuality that makes our school community stronger and more vibrant.

We want every student to know that they belong here. We want them to feel seen, valued, supported, and connected. And we want families to know that you are an important part of that community, too. When we work together, communicate with one another, celebrate successes, navigate challenges, and support our students, we create a school where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

As we start this new year, we look forward to welcoming our returning families and getting to know those who are joining our TMS community for the first time. There will undoubtedly be moments of excitement, growth, challenge, and change along the way, but we are better equipped to meet all of those moments when we do it together.

Thank you for trusting us with your students and for allowing us to be part of their middle school experience. We are excited to see them grow, discover who they are, build relationships, find their people, and become increasingly confident in the individuals they are becoming.

We are so excited to welcome you and your students back for the 2025-26 school year! Whether you’re returning for another great year or joining our school community for the first time, we are thrilled to partner with you in supporting your child’s growth and success.

My hope is that every student walks through our doors each day feeling a deep sense of belonging. We are committed to creating a school where students feel safe, challenged, and supported—and where every child knows they matter and can achieve great things. Together, we will nurture their strengths, celebrate their progress, and help them see a future full of possibilities.
